Nina Murashkina was born in Donetsk in 1985.
From 2000 to 2005 she studied at Donetsk Art College, at Graphic Design. Between 2005 and 2009, Nina continued her education at Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Fine Arts, at Monumental Painting, the studio of Viktor Hontarov.
At 2011 she entered National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture and studied at the Theatre and Film Design faculty..
The main theme of her art is psychology of sexuality, sensuality, the asthetisation of personal drama. In Nina’s works she combines decorative painting, kitch, naiv, magical symbolism and contemporary art.
Almost in all works of Nina Murashkina the main heroin is the artist herself.
The artist lives and works in Kyiv and Barcelona.
