Husiev Ihor

Artist, poet, the author of performances, films, objects and installations; participant and organizer of plenty of artistic actions
Born in Odesa in 1970, Ihor Husiev graduated from Grekov Odesa Art School (painting – Volodymyr Krishtopenko, drawing – Vitalii Alikberov).
Ihor is the leader of the Art Reidery movement. As an artist he has participated in exhibitions since the early ’90s and is the representative of ‘new wave’ of Ukrainian contemporary art.
Ihor is the founder of the underground Norma gallery (Odesa) which existed for three years. Also, he founded the DOOORS gallery (Odesa) – the gallery of one painting.
Ihor Husiev lives and works in Odesa.
